German Shepherds: Incredible Dogs, But Not for Everyone
German Shepherds are loyal, intelligent, and loving companions. They excel as family pets when properly trained and socialized, and their devotion to their people is unmatched. At NW Washington German Shepherds, I focus on breeding dogs with an active family temperament, not extreme working or high-drive lines. All of my dogs fit in wonderfully with our family, and that’s exactly what I aim for in every litter. That said, owning a German Shepherd is a serious commitment. They need structure, training, and consistency. As a breeder, I can only do so much—the rest is up to the owner. It takes dedication to raise a well-behaved, balanced dog. Without proper leadership, a Shepherd can develop behavioral issues that make life difficult for both the dog and the owner. I always try to match my puppies with the right homes, sometimes even discouraging those who may not be fully prepared for the responsibility of this incredible breed. If you’re considering a German Shepherd, be ready to put in the work, stay consistent, and give them the time and training they need to thrive. When raised correctly, they are loving, loyal, and protective family members who will bring joy for years to come!

We believe in responsible breeding and a commitment to ensuring our dogs find loving, caring homes. For approved homes, we extend the opportunity of breeding rights. Our priority is the well-being of our dogs, and we carefully select homes that guarantee a fulfilling life and unwavering care for each of our puppies.
Shipping is made convenient through either ground or flight options, departing from Sea-Tac Airport and arriving at any other major airport. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. To secure your choice of puppy, we require a non-refundable deposit of $300.
Every puppy we provide comes from health-tested parents, ensuring a strong foundation of well-being. Our puppies are registered with the AKC and come with limited registration, unless alternative arrangements are discussed.
